Bye Sweet Bye

The bye week couldn’t come soon enough for the Patriots with 4 of their first 6 games on the road, and 3 of these teams very serious playoff contenders. Last week was another disappointing week for the defending Super Bowl champions, losing 28-20 to the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium. After this much need bye week the Patriots look to have a bit easier of a schedule with 6 of their remaining 10 games at home. They will have some tough opponents, the undefeated Indianapolis Colts is the most notable team, but they are also hosting the struggling New Orleans Saints and New York Jets. But the Patriots are still in first and that’s good news after such a hard start to the season.

10-6 will win the division, Buffalo has a brutal schedule coming up and the Jets are hurting. The Pats secondary problems continue with Guss Scott added to the IR, the 5th back injured this year (Gay, Poole, Scoot, Scott, Harrison). So we need a 7-3 finish, we have the Chiefs on the road as well coming up and Tampa at home. At Buffalo is alos very tough and never look past Miami on the road.
