The New England Patriots won yesterday against the Houston Texans in impressive fashion. The Patriots have all but tied up the division with this win and just need to win one of their next two or have the Jets lose one of their next two. The next two games for the Patriots are not going to be a cake walk by any means facing the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-6) and Tennessee Titans (7-7) (winning their last 5), but I have that they will win the next 2 games.

The New England Patriots were shut out for the first time since the first game of the 2003 season against the Buffalo Bills. This disappointing loss was handed out by the Miami Dolphins, who are showing that they are as good as everyone hoped they would be before the season started. But the Patriots still have a 2 game lead in their division so they have not put themselves in any immediate danger, but they really need to learn from this loss and make sure the fix the cracks for the postseason.

After this Sunday, I should be talking about the 3 game winning streak for the New England Patriots, and how it should be 4 the next week. Looking at their upcoming schedule it doesn't seem like it'll be a stroll in the park for the Patriots, but they definitely won't be playing the cream of the crop in the NFL. The remaining 5 games on the Patriots' schedule are all against teams that are below .500. So it would be nice to have that momentum going for us into the playoffs.
